Who we are
This website, therdshow.com, is run by Kazeem (DJ Jhyde) Busari ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about your personal information, email dj.jhyde@therdshow.com.
What this website collects
This website has no user accounts, comment sections or on-site forms, and we do not use advertising or analytics tools. We do not knowingly collect personal information just because you visit.
Like all websites, our web host keeps basic server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
When you contact us
If you contact us, we use the details you give us to reply to you and, for music submissions, to consider your music for the show.
- Email: messages sent to the studio email address reach us directly.
- WhatsApp: messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, and we will see your phone number and message.
- Voice messages: these are recorded and sent through SpeakPipe, which has its own privacy policy. Please only share what you are happy for us to hear and, if we choose, play on the show.
We keep emails, WhatsApp messages and music submissions for up to one month and then delete them, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Voice messages left through SpeakPipe that we do not use on the show are deleted after 48 hours. If we do play your voice message on the show, we delete the original recording, but the broadcast itself is still kept. This means your message can still be heard in archived recordings of that episode.
Third-party services
Some parts of this website load content from other companies. When that happens, your browser connects to them directly and they can see your IP address and the fact that you visited. Their own privacy policies apply.
- Google Fonts supplies the website's fonts.
- Mixcloud provides the audio player on the Latest Episode page.
- Audio streams on the home and Stations pages are provided by our streaming host and by partner stations, which can see your IP address when you press play.
- Other websites, such as partner radio stations and fundraising pages, are linked from this site. Once you leave this site, those sites' own policies apply.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies itself. Third-party content such as the Mixcloud player may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. To do this, email dj.jhyde@therdshow.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website works, we will update this page and the date at the top.
